Time is the most expensive thing you own! Time is more valuable than money because you can't make more of it. The tricky thing about time is that we all have a limited amount of it but none os us know how much we have. From the time we are born (0826 @ 08:26 for me), our death timer starts ticking. I am beyond blessed to have been able to see thirty eight years of life. I have had the pleasure of having children and a great family. I have had a great career and I have had some fun times. In contrast, I have wasted a lot of my time. I can't get it back.We have to find our purpose and then eliminate everything and everyone that doesn't fit in it. This will include family and friends but it is so important to quit wasting time. I am so glad that I learned this! Everything does serve as a purpose but it is up to us to stop dragging out things that are not meant to be! Since I have learned how expensive my time is, I rarely talk on the phone. I am no longer interested in just talking for no reason. Don't get me wrong, if it's my kids, mom, dad, siblings, and close friends, I am fine with it but some people only want to get in your business. I don't want to gossip or waste my time anymore! STOP being available for everyone. That is no good! It is okay to help others, help strangers, etc. but learn the difference between free time and availability! They are not the same. I give often. I donate to charity, I donate a lot actually but it doesn't drain me. Strangers never drain you, it's the people that you know. If they are meant to be in your life, they won't drain you, they will recharge and refresh you. Your body reads energy well but it is up to you to listen. Energy can't lie so stop allowing your temporary emotions to get you in situations that cost you so much time. You can't get it back.
